Cookie Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. This Cookie Policy explains which of them this website (renomax.net) uses, why, and how you can control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
2. Our approach
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not set any cookies at all. The only item it stores on your device is the strictly necessary record of your cookie-notice choice described below.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before any such cookies are set.
No cookies are set until you choose. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. They are switched off by default and are set only if you click "Accept". If you click "Decline", the website works exactly the same.
3. Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
rmx-consent | Local storage | RenoMax (this website) | Remembers your choice on the cookie banner so it is not shown on every visit. Contains no personal information and is never sent to us. | 13 months | Strictly necessary |
_ga | Cookie | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another so we can count visitors and see which pages are used. | 2 years | Analytics — only after "Accept" |
_ga_<ID> | Cookie | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit (session). | 2 years | Analytics — only after "Accept" |
_fbp | Cookie | Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) | Recognises your browser so we can measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads. | 90 days | Advertising — only after "Accept" |
_fbc | Cookie | Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel) | Set only when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad; records which ad you clicked. | 90 days | Advertising — only after "Accept" |
Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC. We use it for statistics only, with Google advertising features switched off.
Meta Pixel is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta may also use this information under its own policies, including to show you ads on Facebook and Instagram.
4. Third-party content
We do not embed videos, maps or social-media widgets, so none of them can set cookies on this website. Our Facebook and Instagram buttons are plain links: nothing from those platforms loads until you click. The quote form sends your request to our form service (Web3Forms) without setting any cookies.
5. How to control cookies
- Cookie notice: click "OK" to close it; your choice is remembered for 13 months.
- Cookie banner: choose "Accept" or "Decline" on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time with the button below or the "Cookie Settings" link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, the cookies listed above are deleted from this website and no new ones are set.
- Your browser: every major browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) lets you block or delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings → Privacy. Clearing site data also removes
rmx-consent, so the banner will be shown again. - Google Analytics opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on all websites.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever we change the cookies or tools this website uses. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we add cookies that need your consent, we will ask you again.
7. Contact
Questions about this Cookie Policy: call (416) 262‑4919 (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm) or send us a message through the quote form.
